Hey guys here’s the thing when I start up the car(03 CL-S 6 Speed) and start driving if I floor it the car kind of sputters but it does it only if the car hasn’t been driven for a while it doesn’t matter if I let the car warm up (2-3minutes) which I figure was enough because the weather outside is not cold I live in PR, the thing is it only started sputtering after my CT headers was installed the car has lost any power and runs fine and it only sputters if you floor it after the car has been unused and only for the first couple of minutes, after that you can floor it without any problems. I was thinking about changing the Spark Plugs the car has 40k and I have never change them any ideas guys. please

 

Might be the ECU learning the new air/fuel curve from the headers. Could be a vacuum line got disconnected, could be the 02 sensor was damaged. Did you disconenct the battery?

 

Yes I did disconect the battery and the headers have been installed for over a month now and the Check Engine Light hasn't come on

 

Also I forgot to mention that sometimes the car when is running normal speed but under the same circumstances as the sputtering (when I have driven the car in the day) the car has stalled but that is when is running at normal speeds any ideas
