NEED HELP! Check engine light on after installing new spark plugs and apexi neo

Jesus christ... i really dont like it..

Today i went to my mechanic to change my spark plugs and install my apexi neo with the boomslang harness plug and play.

After installing the spark plugs and the neo, i turn on the engine and the check engine light was on.

So i went test driving the car and the car dosent want to go higher then 3000-3500rpm.. and i can feel that the engine does not breathe right.. idle is fine.. but when i press full throttle, the car dosent really accellerate good...

How i can know what is the check engine code?

help me please!

Thanks

if you dont mind drivin it, take it to autozone/advance/oreillys' whatever you got near ya and get them to run the code. they do it for free.

Then....
I'd slap your mechanic for letting you leave the shop with your car running like shit, and your CE on.

Annndd tthhheeennn

I'd reinstall it back to OEM specs, see if that clears the code (after you d/c the battery) and if not, take it to acura (pending you still have a warranty)

just my

Sounds like what I had, the initial settings are not correct for the neo. You need to enable VTEC in the Neo settings and some other minor things.

Hotwire was left as is, I believe by default it is 1 in and 1 out. Pressure was set to 6 in 6 out. Also for car select or something the CL uses the ascending type (arrow pointing to the upper right hand corner) throttle position sensor. You need to also set the max and min throttle. Let me know how it works out, or if you need more info. I can run to the car and check it out. I am fairly certain it is something with the neo. You can unplug the boomslang yourself and return the wiring to stock to verify. You should not drive the car in its current state.
