NE Acura Dealership or Dealershit
I read Soopa's post on his dealearship problems. I'm from catskill NY and that dealership in latham NY, that Soopa went to, is the closest one to me. I went there last month to have some work done, wheel alignment, brake service, tranny service, inspection, egnition recall. The "service advisor" who by the way doesn't seem to know much about the cars he is advising on (told me my car has a tranny filter, had no clue about the Emission warranty Extension) said I should have a 60000 mile service since i had 57000 and I was close enough. Well I could go on writing for the next three days on how fucked over I was. I thought since I just got the car, I would go to the dealer one time and have them work on it and check it over. Then I would just bring it to my regular mechanic. I still don't know what was acually done if anything, car still is pulling to the left etc. The only thing I know they did do was change the oil, because that was the one thing I told them not to do, since I just did it a week ago with full synthetic. They had my car for over 10 hrs. You think by going to the dealer you don't have to worry because that's why you are paying them the big buck's, think again. $270 at dealership $29.95 at local quicklube for the same thing. I called and bitched them out and Brian the service manager, said he would give me a refund, three weeks later and nothing. Now my ABS light is on. I knew something was up with this dealer, it seemed like their service techs were nothing more than glorified oil changers. And now I read what's happening to soopa and I look to the left and see that he is from Albany NY. Same fucking dealer and now I'm really pissed. I'm getting ready to call American Honda and the BBB.

i wish they would just shut that place down. then i could call roadside assitance to tow my car to the next closest dealer.
btw- last time i had an alignment by them... same exact thing... car was still misaligned. I ended up having to go to a private shop to get it driving straight.
