wassup everyone,

i went by my local dealership down here in va over the weekend and they had 2001 acura 3.2cl type s w/navi(silver/black interior) 48k miles with a sticker of 22,990. i checked both the kelley bb and nada, and that price was a lil bit high...none the less i didnt bite...well they wound up selling that car that same day, for that price!

anyway, today the salesman calls me and lets me know they just got a 01 cl type s no navi (red/tan interior) in, and the price was 21,990. i have 3k to put as a down payment, but i countered them with 19k for the car, and they have not budged. is 21k that a fair price for the 01 cl-s?

Not a good deal at all, IMHO. How many miles?

What was my CL is going for the same price... But an '02 with very little miles.

 

thats exactly what i thought..the red one has 41k miles on it, and the salesman was acting like he was "doing me a favor"...


what would you say is a good price for that car, 18, 19k?

 

damn I must a gotten a freekin awsome deal. I got mine for 20,200 and it had 18k miles on it.

 

i just checked online at some dealerships in nj and they have a few 01 cl-s non navi for 19k before tax/tags

 

My 01 is selling for $18K, 33K miles.

They're trying the same thing in my area...$22-23K for an 01, no navi. They use the excuse it's no longer being made to screw you on a trade, then sell them for outrageous prices...

quick update...the dealer dropped the price of the red 01 cl-s to 20k out the door w tax/tags...

im holdin out for 19k, i know its only 1,000....but its the principle to me...

 

Lets not 4get the 2 tranny's, added in for FREE! hahhha
