I've noticed over the past few days my navigation's screen isn't as bright as it used to be... I think it might even be getting progressivly dimmer.

Correct me if im wrong, but before I noticed this change I used to leave the brightness level on about 3/4 of full maybe a little less and I would leave the day/night switch set to auto. Most of the time I leave my headlights on even during the day so my nav screen is almost always in DIM mode. This used to be perfectly acceptable except when it was really bright out or when sun was shining right on the screen. However now even with the brightness turned all the way up, when in auto dim mode and headlights are on during the day -- even when its overcast out the display looks like its OFF. With head lights off (nav screen not in dim mode) the display looks like it used to when it was in dim mode.

Has anyone else had a problem like this? Im sure the dealer can/will fix it but I just thought I'd throw it out here on the forum.

ive noticed mine doesnt seem as bright either.

i just assume its cuz ive gotten used to it.

If you have yours set to its brightest and its set to auto dim mode, and you have the head lights on but you are outside in relativly bright light how does it look? Can you at least tell its on?

no you can barely see it at all.

if it is sunny outside... I can hardly see it even in Day Mode at 100% brightness.


that could just be from all the glare from the low winter sun tho.
