hey guys i have a 2001 Cl-S and i'm gonna buy a new disc soon. Does anyone now a good place to get it from and around how much? If anyone has it can i pay them some money to burn it and will the burned disc work? Need some info ..

ya a burned disk will work... i had my disc from my 03 cls burned because my friend with a 01 tl wanted it and it works like a charm. i could possible get him to burn you another one for $20

I'm in the same boat, I just bought my 2001 CLS and the dvd was never upgraded. I went on a trip this weekend and the town I went to wasn't even on the map. Sucked. And I've been waiting for this upgrade, if it isn't postponed again.

Just called Acura Customer Service. The lady first asked me about VIN numbers and current mileage.

I asked about the availability of new DVD..... and she replied:

1) Will be avilable at the end of September.
2) You can buy directly from Alpine. It's cheaper than buying from Acura website
3) New features are available till the the disc is released.

That's all.

 

Maybe you meant to say:
New features are unknown until the DVD is released.

 

If anyone thinks I can be bribed into burning them a copy on my DVD burner after they PayPal me the proper funds and provide a shipping address via PM they may be sadly mistaken at my possible lack of morals.
