Mike,

I'm no longer taking orders for my $220 Deluxe Video On My Navi kit. Partly
due to parts shortage, but also because I'm designing a new improved unit.
The Deluxe was recommended to be mounted in the dash behind the display. My
new model will mount in the trunk or next to the navigation computer.

For the new model I'm building a custom cable assembly with infrared eye.
This model will have a TV tuner, 2 source A/V input, infrared remote control
and built-in RF modulator for audio on your car's FM stereo. The cost of the
custom cable assembly and instructions will be $125 and the Pioneer
Electronics TV tuner,A/V selector with IR remote is $279 (internet price
www.thecameraclub.com). I'm still testing this unit, but should know the
results soon. This will mount within 4' of your navigation computer.

The new setup sounds stupid.

I liked his unit because it was nice and simple and cheap and we could do what we wanted to it ourselves.

oh well... maybe StreetE will continue to sell the basic unit.
