Disconnect your battery for about 15 to 20 min. Reconnect. Punch in your navi codes & radio codes. Let the navi satelites reposition your location.
Dont move your car while it's positioning.
that should do it

I think the satellites were malfunctioning last night......
I was driving in NYC last night around 8pm and it said I was in Chessapeake Bay, in the middle!!!!!!
I was waiting for the navigation to say, please exit your car and swim to shore immediately!!!!!!!!!!!!

The satellites were having problems since yesterday morning. They are sending an intermittent signal and throwing alot of people off. If you look in the upper left corner of the screen you should have 3 GREEN lines in the box to know if you are reveiving service. If the lines are YELLOW or OFF completely, you are not getting regular service.
Yesterday, I was showing like i was in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean!! I was hoping the Airbags would pop out...LOL
I called my cousin who has the same car and he said his was off too. Then I looked at the satellite signal and it was off and alternating occasionally to yellow.
Later on, it turned green and the picture and location was fine.
Dont take your car for service, you'll be wasting your time. You must realize that the system is always moving and subject to the same outages as a DirecTV system in your house. Maybe weather or software or computer glitch is off and I'm sure they are working on it.

We had some nasty stuff happen from the 27th through Today.
I had my car appear in the Pacific Ocean (I park in West LA) and the sat signal strength was going crazy.
During periods of peak solar activity this kind of stuff happens.
Just be grateful that this wasn't a few months back when the satellites were out from a geomagnetic storm for more than 1 hour -- I was almost going to take the car in for service. After driving for an hour (with good position data, but no green or yellow bars showing) the display moved the car about 20 feet after 1 - 1.5 hours of driving.
