NAVI Disk

I was wondering if, and when, the new navi disk comes out for the TL's if they can and will be compatible with our CL's navi system? Not a great question, but just curious.

I just looked and haven't found out if that would work or not, in terms of better quality than ours.

The navi disk from an 04 TL will not work.

99-03 TL = 01-03 CL

To answer your question, yes the new DVD version 2.11 will be for both the CL & TL.

Wow.. bunch of answers here.... to sum it up...

As Chaptorial said, the new DVD version 2.11 Acura is releasing will work for both the CL (01-03) and the TL (99-03).

However, as NSXNEXT said, the new TL's (2004 TL) Navi disk will NOT work in the CL.

Well maybe, but it is coming up .06 points.

From what info Acura has released this actually is a "major" upgrade.

Major, minor. None of us really know. It depends on how you feel about it. In terms of code, this is "minor". If you live in still uncovered BFN, New Mexico, there's nothing major about it.

In any case, this is the last updated Navi DVD we're getting handed by Acura. So you gotta live with this one....

The Acura website has been updated...with a link to acuranavi.com.

I hate to say it but we really shouldn't have gotten this update. If it weren't for all the complaints here, we probably wouldn't have even gotten this update. Our Navi is obsolete, we shouldn't expect new software after they deliver on their main promise, which is entire US coverage.
