I was reading the CL FAQ and noticed the "Mystery Mod"....whatever became of this and did it ever hit production?

Thanks

It will reach production by this summer thanks to Scalbert (Steve) and his new project "Hope Systems Inc"

There is a thread in Car Talk now discussing his future offerings.

The Mystery Mod is probably about 2 years old, and it was the code name for a device called a RES which was added to engine and produced decent gains (both HP and torque).

Unfortunately, that mod was never created, however, another member of our board will be developing a very similar (if not identical) modification very soon.

For more info, check out this topic: http://www.acura-cl.com/forums/showt...hreadid=139195

Searching under RES should yield more specific results.
