R1 is definately a thought. And I had insurance, luckily, but with a $1000 deductible thinking that nothing will ever happen. And my payments with the deposit minus the deductible brings me only to nearly even. SO now I have to come up with some cash to get another.

I parked in the spots across from the apartment as always and between midnight last night and 6:30 this morning it was gone. Called the cops of course and they were reluctant to appear friendly or helpful. They seemed less than concerned with my issues.

so sorry man...i completely feel for you. my 03 gixxer six was stolen too about 3 months ago right outside my apartment. i almost owned it 1 full year before it got stolen...just shy 1 week. hopefully insurance will cover you for everything (mods if any). i got lucky...my insurance covered me for all of mine when i showed them receipts. think of it this way...maybe this happened for a reason...an accident could've been in your future?

That really sucks! Sorry to hear. Hey, look on the bright side. Now it gives a reason for you to get the new R1.

Sorry to hear man, I know how it feels to lose a bike. A good alarm is an excellent idea.

Not much of a Japanese bike fan, although the R1 and GXR1000 are nice.

I would hop up on a Buell Firebolt 9R... it will change your mind.

I say go with the GXR750 more than enought bike. I've experienced both R6 and the 750.

Sorry about your loss. I would be pissed if my ZX-7R was ripped - do not forget to check out the new ZX-10 and Honda 1000
