i hope everyone had as enjoyable a weekend as i did!!! first off, the weather here in the Northeast was sooooo warm, i was wearing shorts all weekend...in December mind u!!

i made a trip to my alma matter Quinnipiac University in Hamden, CT (outskirts of New Haven)...from my house, it's around 1.5 hours in normal driving...since i left Sat morning @7, i was at school in an hour and 10 minutes!! i took advantage of shift changes with the cops!!...had some good fun while i was up there...saw a couple CL-S's which was nice...came home Sat night and then went out with friends to celebrate my passing of my Series 7...stayed out all night, watched Carlin's latest HBO special last month in NYC, then got about 3 hours sleep before going home to crash!!...now, i decided to calculate how many miles i would rack up over the course of this weekend...i made sure to fill up before leaving...total was about 295 miles in a day and a half on 13 gallons...that equates to about 22/23 mpg...i would classify my driving as aggressive, erradic, and unsafe I95 here on the East Coast is a killer if u don't time it right...going up was easy, which is y i was crusin at 85+...going home at 8:30 at night was more hectic since u got people who can't drive to save their lives crusin at 60 in the left lane!!!...so it was a lot more stop-and-go driving going home...on the LIE (I495) and Northern State, same deal...even at 11PM they were crowded, so i rarely had the chance to just cruise at a set speed...so this is a real wakeup call for me since im trying to conserve money as much as possible...nice thing is that gas here in my town for Super is down to $1.35, so putting in $10 goes a lot longer than let's say $1.75 about 6 months ago...this weekend was the first time i've put this much milage on my baby in such a short period of time since i bought her in July '00...we bonded so well
