Ok he calls me and says, thats the LONGEST message i have ever had.

I want to apaologize to you for all your problems. He called and told me to tell him ALL my problems, after that, he told me that he could not believe what he was hearing.

He told me that if i changed my mind about writing the letter, he would fix my speaker car, WITH a loaner, AND he said he is crediting my next 3 services. So my 3 next scheduled services are FREE!! AWSOME.

The 3 free services by itself is a $300 dollars value!

He also said that I could from now on watch while they worked on my car..

He also said that the night shift service manager will be spoken with AND i should expect a apology phone call from the mechanic that spoke to me tomorrow. But i got the apology already today from him, he had called my cell phone and left a message..

So I got apologies, my stereo fixed, $300 dollars plus in maintinance, and I get to watch my car worked on from now on ..

I will never again take my car to that dealership for anything other than scheduled maintinance.


He told me if i did choose to write the letter, I would only get the head unit fixed, and none of the other goodies...

A buddy of mine told me, the only reason that they did that, is cause i threatened to:

A) make a hate web-site about it
B) because i threatened to send the letter to so many parties, including the Sales manager, owner, Honda.
C) because i was gonna write that this would affect my acura purchase in the future.

He said if i had not mentioned these three things, the dealership would not have given two shits, letters get sent all the time, but the complaints neveer have the right words to get the job done.

 

Congratulations man. That's good that you bitched at them.

 

This thread should be FAQ'd so we know what to say if and when we have to bitch about a problem.

well it is glad to see that the service manager did the right thing. It is rare in the car business.

If you don't get everything in writing you're gonna be writing the same letter when your next service is due. I say you get what you can now and write the letter anyways.

 

Nice job, Amir. Sounds like they're certainly scared now. So, back to the comment from the other thread, think they would have done that for a 90 integra owner, not thinking about purchasing another Acura? I doubt it...you are (were) a loyal customer, their bread and butter, and they know what happens when you piss those people off...

Congrats man. I agree - it was the threat of the cc's on the letter and the website that pulled it off.

Too damn bad you have to go to that level to get things fixed.
