My New CL....comments?
Hello all, new to the forums...after losing the Long Island NBP 6SPD with only 17000 miles to RonDog, I kept looking and a couple of days ago, bought a Taffeta White 6SPD from a seller in DE. Here are the specs, and I wanted to ask if everyone thinks I got a good deal...?
Taffeta White (exterior is immaculate)
6 SPD
18500 miles
(No Navigation)
AEM CAI
Comptech Exhaust
18" Konig Imagines
Four Brand New Yokohama All Season Low Pro tires
Aluminum Type S door sills
Plus, the seller threw in an extra tire, a new battery, an extra CAI filter, Black mesh grille and lower bumper grill inserts...
All this for $16,500!
The car looks and drives great! Pictures to come as soon as I tint the windows...
Comptech headers, tint, & spoiler next...

Sweet... Sounds like a nice price.. Welcome to the 6spd club.
I guess that there are still a few low mileage 6spds out there (even tho' some people complain that they are hard to find). I like to drive mine
Link to the production number is in my sig (white/ebony/non-navi is kinda rare).
There's a 5 minute edit rule, so you can only delete a dup thread in that time period. Next time just go into the thread, and click on the edit button. Click on the "delete message" radio button and then click on the grey "delete this message" button.
I cleaned up the other thread...

Welcome to the forum and enjoy the CL.
question is how did you know about Ron and him snagging the other CL away from you? were you guys fighting for the same car? white/ebony is a great combination and is definitely worth the price you paid

I had been talking to the seller Ron bought his car from, and I told the seller not to sell it without contacting me first. I called him back a few days later and he said that he had sold it to a guy that mods Acuras that lives in Westchester...he told me about Ron's site. I called Ron and asked if he wanted to sell it...thankfully, he said no, because then I found this gem.

besides, your offer wasn't the most attractive i've seen, lol.
You know what elose, that same thing happened to me, were I made an offer, and it didn't go thru, I wanted the car so bad cash in hand...
Then I got my current car and love it. Negative situations end up benefitting you in the end.

Well, you're absolutely right, my offer wasn't as high as some others out there... good thing, though, because I wound up spending 3,000 less than I would have (no navi, though)...no doubt about good things turning out in the end.
