My memory seats somtimes act weird..do yours?

Sometimes, when it is cold outside my seats do not act properly. Here is the scenario:

Car locked with seat in forward position because someone got out of the car when we last stopped; hit remote unlock button; open door, recline seat back to normal position; seat begins to slide back to memory position; I get into seat before it finishes and it either stops right there or sometimes tries to move forward. I hit the memory 1 button and it goes back where it is supposed to.

This seems broken. Please confirm and/or report on similar results. I'm confused!

I think it's probably the safety deal which stops the seat from moving back when it hits an obstruction if you access the backseat with the auto deal on the side of the seat. I couldn't get mine to do it unless the front seat was down to gain access to the back. I also assume you are using the memory 1 remote. Also, I weigh about 165. If you're much bigger I guess it might have some effect.

that happens to me also -if you sit in the seat before it stops moving to its memory position, it stops.

If the seats hits something while moving or if you jump into it hard while it is moving, it will stop. You can slide into it [b]gently[b] while it's moving without stopping it.

However, in the past 11 months, I have had 3 instances where the memory seat suffered from temporary amnesia. Neither the door button nor the remote could jog the seat's memory. I had to manually position the seat. The next time I got in (later that day), it remembered.

My seat is squeaking and cipping and give annoying noise when M2 (exit position) is used.... It may need to be greased or the rails get cleaned.....

Passenger side is doing this. I think I'll spray some silicon on a rag and wipe the rails down to see if that helps. I also have a small crack which appears to be appearing on the driver seat. I may not need to clean the seat after all - if it really cracks I will take it to the dealer.
