my local Acura dealership parts department is open until 12am...
I have never heard of that in my life.

Damn man, you guys have it pretty fucking good. The only thing open that late are Bars (Clubs), Titty Clubs, Denny's and dont forget WALLY MART... 
The parts dept here closes at 5pm I believe.

My Acura dealer Service/Parts Dept is only open 7:30AM to 6PM, but if you call ahead for something you can pick it up any time the sales office is open which is much later.
Same with picking up your car after a service is done. You can come back at 8PM to get your car as long as the sales office is open.
The Toyota place where we get my wife’s RAV4 serviced has crazy hours.
They’re open something like 22-Hours a day.
I think it’s like 2AM to Midnight or something like that.
The entire service department is open if you want a 3AM oil change.
