My IMRC is out again...

I just put the new T1-S 's on just before I went on vacation.

I noticed in the next week, I could not chirp second gear when gate shifting, and I could consistently with my Nitto 555's

Went for a 1200 drive on a short vacation. When I was about 300 miles from the nearest Acura dealer, I heard a short grinding hoise whn I turned the key to "ignition" THis was the IMRC motor trying to cycle. I'm thinking "f'in great, we could be f'd"

It was a coincidence this is concurrent with my orirignal perception of the extra stickiness of the tires causing the lack of performance, rather than the loss of power.

ANyway, The Toyo's are incredible. Best tire I ve run in 25 years....

The IMRC is the motor cable assembly mounted on the firewall side of the valve cover.

It controls the second stage induction on the intake.

It is supposed to activate at 3800 RPM

This is good for 15-20 hp

It is the major didfference with the type s motor
