He has a 2002 4 Door Grand Am GT w/ Ram Air. For some reason he thinks he can beat me. Is he even worth the gas and the time? I've driven his car and it is pretty quick but i dont think it can match my car. I havent got WOT on my car yet cause its still new but imma give him a run when i get 600 miles.

I guess he thinks his car is fast cause alls he races is slow ass cars like my dads es 300.

Race him... he'll look stupid. I raced my friend in his moms 2001 (I think) or 2002 4 Door Grand Am GT and it wasn't even a race. I beat him by like 5 car lengths. I'd wait to race him after you put a few miles on your car.

You'll give him a serious whooping, that silly V-6 RAM AIR adds a whole 5 hp, to 175 or some number in that range.

don't worry man... i was playing with a black 4door GT (dual exhaust type) i was still stock back then.... he pulled s stupid stunt and cut me off so i was tailgating him for awhile... then i pulled ahead of him and cut him back off and still able to pull 2 cars length... it pull this of with ease... so you'll won't have a problem dealing with him.

when you race ...just pace him to 60 he'll be WOT your 3/4 in SS at that point start bouncing the front end...by reving the engine...than just go away...by 100 he'll be 5 cars back...the bad end is he wont be your friend anymore

Were like best friends so i dont want to take money from him, but shit 3rd gear is long as hell, does the car even pull hard in 3rd, cause its from like 65-115 mph.

i have h/i so from ~90-95 to 115 it pulls hard.

You will have no problem beating up that GM POS. As for the Lightning and M5 statements, whoever said that must be whooping up on Z06 Corvettes and '03 Cobras as well. That is a rich one, CL-S beating a Lightning.

73 to 113 it pulls good with headers and intake,stock there's alittle delay then you'll start pullin again...it wont even be close and you dont have to worry about 3rd you'll be 5 cars or more by the end of 2nd

I'm glad you guys put this topic up cause my g/f is debating between a 02 or 03 Grand Prix GT(4 door) or a 02 or 03 Impala and she swears up and down it will toast a new Accord (02) V-6 I told her i seriously doubt it. I already told her a 03 V-6 Accord would tear up a new Impala or Grand Prix GT up. I said a GTP would probably beat a V-6 Accord(03)

You should have no problem handing him his ass. I have a 01 Accord V6 and I beat my friend with her 2000 Grand Am Ram Air by 3-4 cars. You should be able to double that number!

Yeah a 02 Accord V6 would tear up a Grand Prix GT and Impala (I have done that successfuly).
