My First Official Mod
Hey AcuraZine:
I just installed my intake for my 3.2 cl-p, its sounds so nice. Going to take it out for a few test runs. Question, one of my friends said, that since you have the intake, you should take it easy for the 02 sensor to get use to the increased amount of air, any truth to that? Well when some money comes around , will look into rims/tire, suspension, and an exhaust.

Congratz on the mod, bet it sounds good. You'll start modding like crazy before you know it!
You dont really need to take it easy. the O2 sensor will not be affected in anyway but the car will slowly adjust to the added air. If you want to make the car learn faster, you could reset the ECU by removing the battery terminals but make sure you have your radio code and navi code if you have a navi and write down your presets. Also if you decide to reset the ECU, let it run without touching the gas for about 10 minutes then turn it off and you should be ready to go for your next drive. but resetting the ECU is not necessary as eventually your car will adjust itself.
