What? Is it a manual or automatic transmission? If its automatic its 5 speed, if it is manual than it is 6 speed swap because 01's were all automatic

It's cool the seller told me the car was 5 spd, the car was auto converted to stick
Like the title says my first cl I don't know anything about these cars,
I'm still learning, there is an after market shifter knob that's a skeleton head so I had know clue.

i know it sux the car doesn't have a sign in it saying "it's a 6speed bro"

lol but i all seriousness u should have known simply because the reverse in the gear box is off to the side. whereas if it was a 5 speed manual your reverse is where 6th gear would be.

either way u got the car for dirt cheap so, regardless of what we say u hit a home a run from the sounds of it bud.
if that deal was around here i would have bought it

I'm subscribed to this thing because its like an episode of Maury where no one on the stage is the father.... Darnell is going to come back and shock us all with a completely different setup than anyone here can imagine.....

He just reaches his hands down into the transmission and changes gears man style...

Not sure what your plan is for the interior, but you put the handbrake on the wrong side.

That does not even look like it's a 6 speed. Just a handbrake conversion with a boot over the shifter.

Not sure if OP serious or really noob. I am disappoint.

Yes the car was automatic but has a 6 speed swap.

Another thing it's running on a automatic ecu I think..
The car won't rev past 5 grand

You cant run the 6MT ecu on the auto engine. You have a few options:

1 - Get Richies harness to fool the auto ecu into thinking everything is ok.

2 - Do it the right way and get the 6MT sensors, engine harness, and ECU. JCharged might be able to list what else is needed since he recently went with a full CL-S6 swap.

You need camber kit all the way around man. You don't want to wreck those tires.... plus what good are ft rims is only a small portion are making good contact?

The rear could use slight less camber. It looks like the top is tucking a bit more then it should.

Are you just getting it resprayed or going with a different color?

Do a search for RL calipers. Best looking bbk for this car

What gnuts said. The only other bbk that is even close to that reasonable price wise is the wilwood kit, and I believe the RL calipers (made by advics) are actually larger. Can any one confirm this? /
