okay I've been talking with my parents about replaceing or something with my Accord right now(it has 200 grand on the ticker)(it still runs fine,and has good compression). my dad acted like they wanted me to get a 03 Accord coupe(which is a nice car) but I told them I'm going to wait till 04.cause I admit i've been lucky with my car usually the first year of a new model they have a few more recalls and problems with them.
I told dad if(key word) the chop the CL from the Acura line.what are they going do? He said they'll replace it with something else(like the CL did with the Legend). I said it's going to be hard to live up to the CL.so if they chop the CL I'll get a good deal on it next fall that's what I'm going to go with.

so the debate is
04 Accord(once it comes out) vs 03(or 04) CL-S(automatic)

You're speaking in hypotheticals. I would not truly shop for a car until I'm actually ready to buy. Remember, there'll always be something better on the horizon. Sort of like when you bought your compuer and it blew away the competition, for about two months that is.

I agree with your issues on the first model year, I think these are relative though, the Accord has been with us for quite a while. I don't think you'd go wrong either way (Acura or Honda).

You also have to consider what you want. The Accord may be close in performance (numbers at least) to the CL-S, however the CL-S is still a more luxurious and spacious automobile. I've always felt cramped in Accords and Civics, not so in Acura.
