So I am driving to pick a friend up near campus and this Neon has been following me for about a ¼ mile. We get to a light he pulls up to the right of me and he starts staring at the front end of the car. The light turns red and we start off, at first I wasn’t going to do anything because I didn’t want to risk get a ticket in this town, but then I decide to go for it and he already had about 3 cars on me before I started to hit it. I switch over to SS and drop down to 2nd and catch up to him at the next light. If you have been to Tallahassee you know that there are fucking street lights at every 80 feet on Tennessee St.
Anyway, I ask him if it was an SRT-4 and if he had any mods. He told me that it was something called an RT Magnum and that he thought it had a supercharger direct from the factory and he also said that he raced an RSX type S the day before and that he beat it by like 4 feet. Then I tell him that this isn’t an RSX and he’s like, let’s see. So I turn VSA off, the light turns green and we go off. My fucking wheels spun but by they got a grip and he had like half a car on me, I hit second, then third and look back into the rear view and he is like 6 cars behind me and growing…god I love third gear.
Anyway, we get to the next light and he says, damn man, you must have a 6 under there and I nod. Then the dick asks me how much I paid for it and after I told him he smirks and says, “you paid that much for it? I only had to pay 19 for my Neon.” Then I start laughing and say, “but it’s still just a neon” and drove off.

I tell you what ... I've had the blinger for about a month now, and I'm constantly amused by people doing ridiculous things to try and get a rise out of me here in Tallahassee. It's just not worth a ticket ... and since I'd be 10+ car lengths ahead, surely I'd get the ticket.

So far most of them have been VW drivers ...

Dummy didnt even know what kind of car he had or what he had under hte hood? BTW, SRT-4's are pretty fast and easy to mod, but they are still a neon.

yeah. i wouldn't mind driving a Neon. especially a fast one. it's just that rush that rules!
but then an Acura owns too.

yes, infact probably more notorious than any other not so fast car in tallahassee. bov and exhaust does not = fast.
i need to get up with you two clowns sometime. i never see any other cl except for that dinged up silver one slammed on 19's or 20's.
