ok.., today morning i went to cal poly pomona for Housing orientation... and my car got hit in the parkin lot.... and it was a hit and ran.... when i came out 2 the parking lot after the orientation... i saw there was a BIG BIG ass dent on my rear left corner ( BUMPER ) and my light is cracked too...... the dent is about the size of basketball.. and it was really bad.....

oh well.........

Anybody tell me what s gonna happen if i go throu insurance ??? cuz i m planning to get the bodykit too.... so ..

i wanna go throu insurance and report hit and ran but i dont have his license plate # but i have a witness who saw the other car hit me but he doesnt have the # either....

it happened to me at cal state fullerton too....with my gs-r bfore......

i was thinking the same thing....going through insurance....but i had a 500 deductable at that time.....i decided it wasn't worth the money....since it only cost me 700 to fix....but again...that's my integra bfore....with our car now...it might cost more...so....u just got to calculate how much everything will cost u in the long run....

oh ya...also...body kit sounds nice.....if you have a shop that will do the estimate for you at a higher price....(which alot do around here)....than it might be worth it to go through insurance....since they give u free rental car too.....well...at least mine did........

Sorry to hear about your car. Its bad when your car gets damaged, but its even worse when you don't know who did it. Some people are just a$$holes. Does the parking lot have a camera? maybe an adjacent building?

i dont know.. cuz i went to VIS (WHEREI GET MY BODYKIT at)..they said the bumper and lights should be under $1000.. and my deductible is 1000... if it s under then i dont know eh...

Dude, sorry about the damage. You shouldn't have to claim it under collision (where you have the big deductible co-pay). Since it was hit and run, it should be covered under your uninsured motorist deductible. (At least that's what they call it in VA.) That deductible (for State Farm) was $200. Ask some questions of your agent.

ya gavin went down to VIS racingsport since i was down there waiting 4 my kit after he got hit in the morning, the bumper looks pretty bad =$... well i introduce him to the owner said he can hook him up 4 sure... gavin said hes gonna get it kit too so we'll see what he gonna do =)

One week after getting my car I got hit in Home Depot parking lot by hit and run. They got me where passenger door meets front quarter panel. Cost $1100 to fix and paint both door and panel. I had $500 deductable on my insurance. Was I mad!

Now I have Dual Stage Shock Sensor so hopefully the alarm will go off and someone will get their plate for me.

I had something similar happen to mine. They didn't hit the light, just the bumper. I got a quote for $563 to replace and paint the bumper cover. My deductible is $500 so I'm not going to even bother with the insurance company. I doubt it yours would be a lot more than mine plus the tail light. Sorry, bud, it sucks. I received no note, no witnesses, no nothing. Mine gets fixed on Sep 10.

That really sucks, sorry to hear that. That guy must of been blind to hit you that hard. Hopefully you can use the insurance money to help you get that bodykit. Good luck

did you tell the school security? when i went to go visit my cousins they gave them tickets for not having their permits on. they might look out for a car that might has hit another car. was any paint left on your car by the other guys' car?
