Yea, that screw is not supposed to be touched. Thats the idle adjustment screw. There is absolutely no gain to be had by turning that. Adjust it back down to where it should be.

It's the idle control screw.

If you turn it one way (CCW I belive) it raises your idle (the RPM you engine runs at when you don't push on the gas) This means that then you will be sucking more air, because you're using more fuel. This means your Air filter will wear out slightly faster, not a big deal, but not worth it because there are no gains. turn it back to where it was. I can't remember what our idle speed is supposed to be, hopefully someone can go check.

according to the service manual its supposed to be at 750 +/- 50 RPM at operating temp with no electrical load and AC off.

and yes, dont touch that screw unless your idle is off.

Go mess with the "little screw thingy" on your cousins car. As stated by other people, dont mess with it

Its funny, when Im driving the CL and I see a Civic with a wing or something, the first word out of my mouth is "Ricer".

When Im in the Civic though, I get these Mustangs and Camaros picking on me all the time. Its fun because my car looks stock, is somewhat loud, and would beat most of them.

Its even better when I get the aforementioned ricers trying to race me. Most of the time on the highway I dont even need to shift, just leave it in top gear and Im out

Haha, you'd have a blast out by me. Its Ricer city...and they are all Pep Boys Ricers, nothing legit around here (well they are rare).

Its jealousy. I used to get shit from my friends because it wasnt a Ford or a Chevy, and it didnt have a V8 or RWD. I dont pay any mind, I like what I like and I make it go fast
