sorry man, I didnt go out this weekend.

Would have liked to have seen it though, I haven't seen any other Cls besides myself actually do something other than take up space on the curb out there.

My friends kept egging me on...there was a chick out there with a black CL with chrome rims...nice...

Yeah...no one ever wants to race the CL..have you noticed that or is it just me???
Maybe they're reading the boards and believe too much of the hype..

But no hype behind my car...

Little off the topic, but didn't want to start a new thread just for that:

Yesterday I was sitting in Art Caffee on 9th and Irving and saw a beautiful CLS with custom wheels going into the GG Park ... I stood up from the chair and started to eat those rims with my eyes. My friends thought that I've gone crazy

. Then, as we were going out, I saw another CLS all stock parked right next to BofA ... it was clean and looked beautiful

I know...I see quite a few around 9th...I usually chill at Tart to Tart on the weeknights...10-12...and I see a few of them pass by.

Yeah I agree, nobody wants to race my car, I have to convince them that its only for fun and that they don't need to cry after I take them to school.

I think that girl in the black CL was Type-S Girl, did it have a spoiler?

yeah....I pull up to the line..and all the other cars back away...sheesh!! It's only a Type-S...;D

Actually...they run all week now...from what I heard...you just have to be in the know...shhh!!!

But I've been going down there for like 6 years...and fridays seemed to be the best nights...in terms of # of cars.

i go to the runs all the time in milpitas,for the past couple months i've been going with my boy in a 4dr purplish acura legend,but i just got my cl type s non navi a couple days ago so im gonna be driving there now,anyone wanna meet up?i need some ideas on how to fix up my cl

Back to the Chevron on Montague..but I think the best thing is to go at like 1130-12 and see if they're running at Ringwood..or Junction...those are the only 2 tracks that they really let us run at.....

hey moo, do you ever go to Fremont i.e. Automall or Dixon Landing? I have followed people there a number of times only to turn right back around and come back to Montague

I went to that one road (1st right off of Automall by the PG&E building) and it went forever and never got broken up, but I have not seen any successful racing north of montague since.

Its kinda stupid how everyone drives up and down Montague following each other in circles when there are cops chillin everywhere. We usually try to get out of the Montague area. We were at the track near Great America for like an hour on Saturday.

I avoid Fremont like the plague...they alwyas wait until a bunch of people get to the track...they even let them race...then they set up all the damn roadblocks. Ringwood is cool and Junction is the best...they only chase you out. Ringwood gets poppin at like 230-3....and they run like for 30 minutes or more.

Yeah...that's why it's called the Montague 500...

...GA?that's cool...Is it that one off of GA 237 exit? I've been boxed there before..Milpitas is the only place that really only chases people out.

I was down there last weekend. Me and 2 buddies of mine rolled down in red lotus twin turbo V8's (was pretty cool, both were identical painted red). Only car that wanted to race was a Z06 corvette but it never happened. We did our own races a few times at gateway... I'll try and make it out this friday/saturday...

I saw a white lotus...I might head out there on friday...too expensive...I use up almost a 1/2 tank just driving down there and all around and back.

When your friends bring out the flossy cars let me know and I will make special arrangements!

I think that white Lotus is someone affiliated with SRO because there is an article on their website where the guy drove it off the side of a cliff this past weekend. Luckily nothing happened to the car. Dumbass.

no preference for me, Fridays lately have seemed just too crowded because it is the first weekend night and every body has been waiting all week to go to the races, I think Saturdays are better for getting some good runs in, but sometimes it just depends on the week.
