My 1st race against the 6-speed...
Temp - 69 degrees
Humidity - 45%
Criteria - up until around 80MPH, then shut down
Location - strip of about 1/8 mile...flat...by the water
Cars:
1. '03 CL-S 6-speed...completely stock...about a month old
2. '01 CL-S gate-shifting...intake only
Results:
no brainer...the 6-speed SLAUGHTERS me by about 3 car lengths at 80MPH...in 1st, he pulls like a mofo on me to about 2 lengths lead...in 2nd he pulls a little more...at about 60MPH onward, neither 1 of us gains any ground...we only did 1 run
this guy was an awesome shifter ...i bounced off the limiter once from 1st to 2nd...timed it perfect from 2nd to 3rd...all in all a cool race!!

holy shit, i'm getin a car soon, prolly the cl-s, but it aint for sure, but i dunno how to drive the god damn stick.
I need to learn how to drive a manual in like 2 weeks, cause i'm getin the car soon. I never knew the 6 speed was soo much quicker.

Hey Scooter, how did you get your production number. I know obviously I could ask the dealer... just wondering how you came across yours... thanks.

My last digits are 005862... Is that a 2003 Acura CL count... CL- Type-S count? I heard there were plans for producing only 1800 or so 6-Speeds for 2003, thus I'm thinking I must have the 5,862-nd Acura CL produced in 2003? Too bad that doesn't take into account the color and transmission + Navi, if so the number would be about 000015. Anyone know how to interpret a VIN? Thanks,
