i have a friend who has a 93' 6spd 3000gt sl with CAI, headers and exhaust and i drive an 03' CL-S auto with CAI, Headers, Exhaust i've raced him from a rolling start around 30mph and we'd be neck and neck and then i'll pull away, but we havent raced far enough for him to get into his last gear( we do it on public roads with other cars) if we took our cars all the way who do u guys think would win we wanna put $$$ on the race but i wanna be sure that i could beat him first

VR4 u cant fuck with it.. Just a SL u going to get him except u need to lose some weightt

the 3000gt is a pig. very heavy. going off a 93 sl model, the 5spd manual is about 3400 lbs and an auto is even more.

only has about 220/200 power wise on paper. dont know if it was underated or not, but i would def think you should pull away at some rate.

best thing about that car was how wide it was. looked cool too. ahead of its time style wise.

is he bitching about not gettin into his 5th gear becuase that makes no sense. car will pull even slower in 5th. its not like he as a turbo that will hit peak boost when dropping into 5th allowing him to start pulling like a train. does he think magic happens when you shift into 5th? its a cruising gear.
