I was ridin with my friend In his 02 GTP, with exhaust, intake, and pully, when this 01 or 02 GT gets beside us at about 55 mph. He starts rompin on it like he wants to race, so I role down the window so he can see me count down. He and my friend both hit it at about 55. My bud's GTP walked all over him until he stoped at 110! When he let off of it we were about 2 car lengths in front of him. And to ad isult to injury, his GTP's a 4 door with no badges. Just thought I'd share.

 

I love seeing Mustangs get smoked! Even when it's not by an import.

Hey GS Dave, I was in Palmdale last Saturday. I got lost on the 138 hwy, really nice place to go wot . Then I took the Pear Blossom hwy to Pasadena. Alot of niiice roads out your way .

 

GS DAVE, I've been to LACR a bunch of times but in other guys rides. Mainly hatchbacks, but I want to run soon enough when I get my ecu tuned, and a pair of good street slicks. I should pull some low 14's easy. Yeah, I'm about 20 min. from Palmdale. That fuckin track is always windy! I've seen tumblweeds blowing across the track when dudes are racing! The air density at that altitude sucks also, but it's still fun.

 

maybe i should take of my 3.0CL badged....is that why people wont race me?.....i pull on this basic bolt-on 97-01 Civic EX one time....then we pull over and he was like "i know i shouldn't race when i saw that 3.0 badged"

I race this rustang gt one time starting at 60 and we were neck and neck till i hit 100mph and start pulling....got it up to 135+ that night.

 

Damn Mustangs..I love killing them..lol. In all seriousness you gotta watch out for those GTP's when modded. I saw one running low 13's at over 105 mph at Englishtown raceway. I was suprised/impressed to say the least.


Side Note: I gotta say, I like the look of a clean trunk with nothing on it on the CL.

I wouldnt call 2 lengths getting "raped", but good kill nonetheless. Modded GTP's can be made pretty fast.
