Mustang
Surprised a Mustang ower today. While driving down a one lane road in an industrial area, a mustang tried to pass me on the left while I was passing a truck that was pulling over. I let him get even with my door, he was accelerating pretty hard at this point. Then I nailed my accelerator. I guess he was pretty surpised to get out accelerated by a family car (my TL-S) . He slowed way down and turned off after that, whimp!:P

I think it was the current one, not the "redesigned one." I was really ticked off at the guy, how dare he try to do an illegal pass with me and the kids in the family car. My car is a 2003 ABP TL-S, a sleeper.

I raced a friend from works 01 Mustang V6 today.
I got no traction but annihilated him by about 7 cars to 60mph. Not a shocker really.
But win or lose i want his big brother with the V8 next.

Yeah- It wasn't an SVT unless you're running over at least 101-103 mph in the 1/4.
Chemmech:
What do you mean by redesigned? Do you mean the redesign in 1999 or the upcoming one in 2005? If if was the older body style (like mine), then it was either a 94-95GT or 96-98 GT. The 94-95's had a 5.0 and run low 15's in the 1/4. The 96-98GT's are 4.6's and run mid/high 15's in the 1/4 mile.

Not the retro designed one, it looked very new, but it was a convertible which I know is a heavier car. It was silver, had a little hood scoop and a black strip around the whole car.

If you come as far down as englishtown raceway lemme know, I'll play.
Chemmech- Sounds like you took a 99-03 GT to me. Nice kill, I'll bet that guy is still wondering what the hell you had done to your car.

You'd take a 96-98 GT with a k+n, forget the headers.
From a roll a CL-S w/ headers v. newer GT would be interesting. The 99+ GT's don't run out of steam up top like the older GT's did. (The 99+ GT's have a better head design then the older 4.6's.)

Yeah, I used to love it when the CL-S guys slept on my 01 GT Drop Top above 90 mph...
I really love the fact that they sleep even more on my LT1 T/A 6 spd...
All you supercharged CL boys hush, I'm not talking about you
