well just made my nightly rounds and found a marauder that thought he was fast found out twice from a roll and once from a light...then this eclipse also thought he'd grown a set of balls...turns out they were his ovarys ...waste of gas i know but he thought he had a chance...then this EVO really it says lancer evolution, not EVO VIII... had paper tags and wouldnt budge...worse he was driving grand ma slow, i mean 35 in a 45.....oh well 2 out of 3....

you wouldve got smoked bad by the EVO. even with the 3.5l, your CL-S wouldnt come close to the EVO.

Not EVERYONE can drive an EVO or any car for that matter to its full potential.

 

there's this yellow evo in syosset and i kept tryin to get him to bite and he wont. The're all scared to "hurt" their precious evo's

I just realized something.. isnt typeR the fastest N/A CLS (auto/6spd)??. with his 13.7..

hows your tranny holding up? still on the first one? how about gas mileage? not that i care too much..

 

i dod go through a transmission recently...though i dont blame the engine...lets face it stock cars can run through this tranny...yes i am currently ther fastest N/A CL-S posted with my 13.7...allmotor thinks he's about to over take that title but...im not done either i have my eye on 13.2 on the engine...gas milage is the same as beofre the motor...270-290 per tank very short trip city driving

 

will headers fit in your engine?.. that will bring you to 13.2s for sure.. maybe 12.8-9s....

 

it's the same dimensions on the out side headers are on....

 

I think a CL-S needs at least 270-280whp before running a low 13... so I'd like to see a dyno first!

For one, awd off the line will LEAVE YOU.

Secondly, once those things are wound up, they are lethal.


in a CL-S you'd have to be on the juice to take one.

Don't get me wrong, you have one of the most badass CL's on the board, but the EVO is a force to be reckoned with....


(I've been considering getting one, but I just can't give up the luxury for that shitty interior!)

 

Alot of people can't launch AWD's, so it definitely depends on the driver. A new red EVO passed me yesterday, going fairly slow, with the 30 day tag, it already had some bigger wheels and tinted windows. It looked mean!

 

TYPE R and Allmotor should have a race.. =)

My guess is TYPERs car prob dynoes around 240-250WHP .. and higher tq..with the 3.5 ..
