Smitty gives a good explaination in this thread. http://www.acura-cl.com/forums/showt...t=mugen+switch

It's simple. Takes just a few minutes. I did this a few days ago. I drove the car yesterday in stop and go 85 degree traffic with the A/C blasting and the car pullled like it does on a nice 60 degree morning. I like this mod a lot!

I did a write up in one of the threads I think too. I would'nt say it takes a few mins .. but prob like a half hour. Hardest part is getting to that bolt at the back of the thermostat housing. but definetly doable . .your hand might hurt when your done though.

oh and give the car enough time to cool off unlike I did, and burned my hands the whole time.

Does the T-Stat and gasket fit perfect? Anyone have it more then 6 month? I didn't buy that because I am afraid that it will leak after a few months.

You re-use the stock gasket. I believe scalbert has had this mod since December with no problems

I put a bottle of water wetter in mine. It's a great mod. I know you won't feel a few HP which this has been dynoed at but I can definitely feel a difference in how much timing is being pulled when the car is hot. I lost quite a bit of coolant and just added the water wetter and some water. Water Wetter is supposed to work better with straight water. I'm just wondering if I now have enough coolant for the cold midwest winters.h

This sounds interesting. I like these types of mods, even though I have a P, I think this might be a fun project. Thanks for the info on pricing!
