Mud Flaps?

I was wanting your opinion on the mud flaps. Off, on, or painted? I have a few pics to go along. I searched but only found the 1G.

Original mud flaps

No mud flaps

Painted mud flaps

All 3 of my CL's were painted to match. Only way I'd put them on.

I'd say paint or off on anything but NPB, since they are black, but even then I'd paint if the conditions warranted it (not tons of potholes, ice, snow, mud, etc...Minneapolis basically).

mine were painted as well, if you search my name for recent picture threads you will see what they looked like on my car.

i think if you have to have the flaps, then paint them. otherwise i would leave them off all together.

only reason i had them was to compensate for the height difference of my front lip.

i havent seen it yet but its the only way i would do it. paint the upper half, only to the body line. that way your not "adding" or "subtracting" any lines of the car

mine are unpainted but I do have NBP. if you got the funds, and wouldnt mine, then paint them. they do look better painted but unpainted is fine too cause i think its just something unnecessay. but then again im broke now so i think every expense is unnecessary. Just whatever protects your car.
