Had to order another set of pistons, while boring the darton sleeves one of the crbide tips in my boring head snapped a guged a bit out, so now they will be going a full 90mm. Those Darton MID sleeves are made some from hard azz steel....

The sleeves are $1200-$1300 from darton and the install quotes I was getting before I got my milling machine were in the $2000 range.

I am still working on it.

Like it was said, I changed careers and the car took a back seat.

I still have the intercooler setup, the TIG welding machine, the car, and all my tools just not the time. I am about to reach a point where I can take a break and get this thing finished up. One major thing I have to do is alter the design of the intake and output manifolds on the supercharger. There is no room to put the large water to air intercooler with the Comptech parts. I am going to make my own similar to how NVA-AV6 did. It is the only way to make the intercooler fit without changing the intake manifold, which I dont want to do. I have the AEM figured out. I will probably make a few sets when I do it in a month or so. Many have asked for another set.

FYI anyone trying to run the F/IC, do not have boomslang make a PNP harness to connect the fic to the ecu. Mine failed miserably.

Ive been hearing the same thing for awhile now about his harness. The pinout diagram he has is apparently incorrect.

He then must have bad pinouts for all honda/acura V6s since I have re-worked BS harnesses for about every different config out there........

for some reason i don't think they have one, but it may just not be listed though , but if you can buy it prewired, it is much easier, almost wished that i did buy it prewired (maybe not with said wiring issues above)

wires are on the smaller side to work with, and also all i saw was green wiring

Isn't this it? 30-2982. Wiring Harness

It has our model and year listed, is that the one you initially got or is that the prewired one you're referring to?

It may just be the fact that I am an auto, the harness was not set up for a MAG signal which is what the auto's need. Also it was having problems reading the crank sensor.

Is that your harness I am working on right now, LOL, yeah it was setup for hall sensors, they did not connect the map, or O2 sensors properly and still do not have VTec setup right to allow remapping.

So the Boomslang listed on the site for the F/IC for the CL requires modification?

What I normally tell my customers is to just get the AEM extension harness for thier cars and eaither wire it up themselves or send it to me to be wired.

Sorry for the multiple questions but is the AEM harness a direct plug-in or does it need to be modded as well? I'm not sure if you mean just to connect it when you say "wire it up themselves" or physically changing things with the harness. I only ask because I'm ordering this stuff in the next week.

not totally sure, can't remember , but i used the boomslang harness, what i meant was i did not see one for a AEM harness for our cars

also auto here, but a tl instead, but same harness still,

and the wiring has to hooked up for MAG on both the cam and crank sensors, we got no hall effect sensors, as far as the FIC is concerned, so i just looped them, and zipped tied them out of the way

i think he means, that you still have to strip and solder everything themselves to the wiring that actually comes with the FIC,

no such thing for a PLUG and PLAY solution (unless of course you send it to him)

So basically it is available to a select few like yourself(if adapted), but for people like me we will never have a kit we can purchase unless we drive to his shop. I wish it was available as a kit but i just dont see it happening now, especially with the life of these cars coming to an end but can still hope i guess. I can also hope that p2r will make me a set of their headers, I am willing to pay for them, just cant get them to want to do it. Can still hope that motor mounts come out too.

I have ordered the kit from Paul...you should be able to install the blower itself...not really that hard...the motor or trans swap or fic wiring is much more time consuming and involved....you can always send your car to Paul...you gotta want it!!!

The actual blower is only about $2-$2.5K, but you will need a good tuning solution (Also AFR and Boost gauges), larger injectors, battery relo to trunk and of course money to get it tunned properly.
