Who cares?
Wouldn't buy that any more than I would buy a WRX - it's fucking ugly, inside and out.

Speed is important, but only once you have a nice car to drive.

I agree. That Altima is gonna knock the cover off the ball. I have this funny feeling that Nissan is going to change the mid-size segment like Lexus did with crossover SUV's (a la RX300).

What's the difference between the 3.5 altima and the maxima?!?! They are practically the same. I'll just wait for the 4door RSX-S I just went to see the altima. It's nice, nothing spectacular. A bit bigger on the inside. Still has those dumbass altezza lights. It completely takes away from the look of the car.

m..it does not matter it goes faster than cls or tls.i bet it does not have the technologies and comfort that cls or tls have.especially it is still a altima. there are a lot of cars that are cheaper than cls or tls but goes faster than tls or cls.so just let it be. i will love my cls no matter what.besides 260 HP is enough for me.

I drove the new altima before buying my cls.
I really like the altima exterior; i think it really looks great.

I like engine too.

The problem with the altima is that the interior looks absolutely horrible.

Just my opinion.

I agree. there's a brand new one parking in the same garage as me, and I think the exterior looks great (tail lights and all) but the interior... well, it isn't my cup of tea (and since I have to look a the interior more than the exterior, I'd still make the same choices).

now if they'd put the max (or I35) interior in the new altima, with the max's new 6 speed, natch, I'd be interested.

I drove one last weekend. It looks much better than before. The engine is great, I'm sure it would make a fun car to drive. But, I was disappointed in the interior. To me it felt real cheap. It even had leather, but the leather wasn't stuck to the seat. It just slid around. Several things made it feel like a 'Sentra'. Maybe Nissan is making a fast car for people on a budget. The only problem is it costs as much as our car.
