for a 20K car.. I-4 turbo 250 HP 17" rims with RED calipers, racing seats, dual exhausts, nice exhasuts tone, FMI, power windows and big ass sunroof, etc...

Mt friend is a Dodge mechanic. He was telling me about different stages that Dodge is offering for the Neon. You need to buy it in order from Stage 1 to stage 3 or 4. This was your car gets hooked up adn is covered by the factory because all parts are Dodge parts and put in by Dodge mechanics.
But still, you are all correct. You can screw anything onto a Neon, but still under all that pretty sheet metal, you still got a neon.

I couldn't care less about being smoked by a neon. I didn't buy a cls because I thought I had some crazy fast race car. If I wanted fast theres a whole lot of other cars out there that are a lot faster than a cls. I bought the car because I wanted an Acura, not because I wanted a fast car.
Its your own decision if you want to drive that neon. Sure, its pretty fast. Its also hideously ugly, and its a neon. Guys don't drive neons where I come from.

I wouldn't mind buying that motor w/ FI and fitted into some kind of kit car. That way, I can have style and the power.

The point is that for $20K, you're getting a HELL of a fast car that can be modded to go even faster.
He isn't talking about styling, nor the badge that it wears... It's a car that'll whoop this crap out of MOST cars on the road. And for $20K.

have you ever even seen an SRT-4???
granted, a stock neon is a bland, ugly car...but the SRT-4, which you obviously have never seen, has an incredibly agressive front end, sweet dual exhausts, 17 inch rims that look better than stock CL rims, red brake calipers, FMIC, etc, etc, etc. it doesnt look any better or worse than the EVO in the same fashion that a normal lancer looks quite tame and very bland.

Some of you guys have to get off your high horse and understand that our cars are pretty Accords. Yeah we love them, but saying it's just a Neon or a Dodge is really ignorant. I paid 30 plus thousand on my Acura and have been through 4 transmissions, have had suspension problems, and lots of other misc problems. The Neon's body may be shit, and so may be the interior, but if Honda put half the effort into an Engine and drivetrain design like Dodge did with the SRT, then maybe I can worry about an ac button not working or a window not going up rather than worrying about accelerating too hard and blowing my fucking glass tranny. Juts like our cars were the best bang for the buck, so is the SRT. How would you feel if you read about some AMG Benz guys talking about a supercharged CL-S and saying, "Hey, why bother, it's just an Acura or Honda? You guys would be pissed. I don't mean to insult anyone, but these "It's Just" statements are really ignorant, because the statement can apply to any car as long as there is another better.

if any of you dolts (yeah you killerCLS) had to chose a vehicle based on anonymous statistics in the 20,000 price range, you would UNDOUBTEDLY pick the SRT-4. based on every testing procedure and statistic available, its the absolute best car ever made for 20k. youd be a FOOL to buy anything else in that price range.
