Optima is good. I don't think they make a yellow top that fits a cl though. I just got a Die Hard Gold from Sears...36 month full warranty and 100 month pro-rated warranty for $79.99.

Stay clear of the optima, unless you have lots of time on your hand. Can't go wrong with Interstate either !

Optima is a great battery. Any good gel cell should be a pretty good battery as well. Die Hard Golds are not gel cells, but they are a damn good battery tho.

My guide to Optima:
Red Top - You only need to start your car.
Yellow Top - You like to run your aftermarket stereo with the car off or you have a big ass stereo and are too cheap to buy a properly sized alternator.
Blue Top - made for marine applications, basically the same damn thing as the Yellow Top. One member here has one, it matches his blue themed engine quite nicely.
