More aggressive, cleaner TL lip spoiler, if possible ...

I am contemplating on modifying my TL lip spoiler to make it cleaner & more aggressive. Don't like the gap in the center. Let's see if this mod is even possible. See link of what I am looking to do...

Funny U mentioned that... My bro. in law wants to buy my CL, but doesn't want to deal w/ scraping the spoiler, ect... (too low for him, not a car buff guy), I am considering selling the car if I can find a better replacement for the CL...

If I do sell it to him, I am considering a selling & trading my whole TL/CL front bumper, sideskirts, rear bumper... for another silver CL's parts...

We'll see what I can find for my CL's replacement...

I wouldn't do it. Not sure what you'd use to fill in that gap, but I would assume fiberglass and bondo.

If and when you scrape the front of the kit, say goodbye to your new mod. It'll crack off.

Don't do it.

man I want that lip conversion so bad... I tihnk the old one looks better... plus whenever you put any fiberglas or bondo on stuff expect that it will look like crap in a few months... rocks don't like that kinda stuff too much... a single nick and it'll all start chipping apart... OEM stuff (from other honda models) usually uses ABS plastic or something of the sort that is less prone to cracking and chipping... and plus paint on there always seems to stay better than with fiberglass/bondo... we've all seen how crappy honda body kits can look after a year or so...

After consulting w/ my body guy, lots of bondo would have to be used to make the new piece seamless... No way around this bondo crap

So, no go... No bondo for my baby lip

PS is always so much easier than the real deal

They make a plastic resin type stuff that works perfect for adhering plastic pieces. It's sandable, and works much like bondo, but is also flexible when it's dry. It has all the same characteristics as factory polyurethane. The stuff is really expensive though...if you'd like I can find out what it's called.

I've heard & seen them before. I think they're reddish, if I am not mistaken... & They're pretty expensive, I am also looking into this...
