MoonRoof...

Sorry if this has already come up, but I think I read somewhere that there is a "fix" for the rattleing moonRoof. Is there? And if so, can do it ourselv es or should we take it to the dealer? Thanks a lot. BTW, does anyone else have a rattleing moonroof? Mine seems to be especially bad just after closing it

I don't have a rattling moonroof, but I am familiar with them. The main fix would be to put some tape on it somewhere, frankly I don't remember. All I know is that alot of people have the problem and the fix involves tape.

Is this some half ass fix just to rid the noise, or is it something the dealer does. I don't think a car with <10k miles should have any rattles yet, especiallly an Acura/Honda. Anyone agree?

Take it to the dealer and let him worry about it. No need for you to dirty your hands.

I just had the rattling moonroof problem fixed at the dealer when I had my 7.5k service. The service manager told me that Acura had issued a technical bulletin on fixing that particular problem and he took care of it no problem (it was covered under the warranty of course!) Now for the rattles in my rear deck, dash, and area near the driver's side seatbelt...
