Moon roof leaking ...

Amongst the other problems I've had...

The fricken moon roof is leaking!! I had water dripping from the readining lights (by the sunglasses holder) after a nice downpour.

The moon roof was closed, that was the 1st thing I checked...

Anyone else ever have this happen?

My list of crap for this POS car is growing week by week. I'm still confused at how this cheezy paint chips so easy on the REAR panels! and roof!

lol, everyone lists mod's im going to list repairs soon! hehe j/k

Brakes (twice),Seat Belts,Blower Motor, Engine probs, Tranny, ALL OF Rattles,Drivers window motor, and now to add a leaking moon roof... :-P More time without my car, yet again

There are FOUR drain tubes in the sunroof area if I remember the HELM manual correctly.
They run down through the “A” & “C” pillars of the car and dump on the road.
I would guess one of the front ones is either clogged at the top or bottom or has come off the connector.

Do you park around trees that may have clogged up the pipe with leaves?

It could be coming in from the Windshield area too.

Did it ruin your interior at all or did you dry it up fast enough?

I don't think so. I'm pretty lucky too, I have the wood trim kit installed.

There was a small mess around the shifter...
