Im at $21K give or take a few thousand

and thats for mods on all my cars starting with my 02' cls auto to the 03' cls 6 spd and the 02' clk430

that is just for the mods doesnt include installation which isnt much anyways

but I will say all my mods on both cl-s had great resale value so when I sold got most of my money back so subtract $5k from price

not bad about $5 K per car probably less

the worst mod are tires cause they have no resale value...best are Comptech headers and Ice-box....Comptech springs and Koni yellows have great resale value.

most of my money has gone to wheels which are easy to take off and sell so I dont feel that bad...but putting nice tires on you just cant get your money back

About 2400 so far. No labor costs, though, because I did everything myself. :P

not much its pretty much pimped out there is nothing I can do to it to make it better

most guys put on body kit that actually make the car look worse so scratch that off the list

pretty much bored

i highly doubt he'd be the winner... mtbikr and xkrazix are two of the top people who've by FARR spent the most $$ modding their CL's

I certainly do not want to win this contest, but interestingly, I just added mine up this morning, as I need to yet again spend a little more! I too feel better now knowing that I am not alone in this lunacy!

03 TW CLS 6 speed + $16,696 (including stereo, mod costs, and installation).

Subtract $3800 if you want to separate the stereo out of it. I would argue that all of my mods are for go, not show, though. Hey that rhymes!

Andy is a friend of mine too. i am going to fly out to LA the first weekend of March and plan to meet up with him so I can check out the ride while I am in town It should be great to see it in person. I would have saved a considerable amount around $15K, if I could have done certain installations myself. Since I couldn't; I made sure that they were done correctly the fisrt time in an attempt to try and cut down on diagnositcs and tuning costs.

Not too much:

Tint - $200
OBX Headers - $400
Used set of RPM2 wheels - $620
New set of tires ~ $500
Icebox - free (friends got it for me as a b-day gift)
rear white blinkers - $5
Zaino - 200+

about $1925+. Not much more I need/want for now except pullies and unichip but rather get a home and save for an M5 (cuz I hear dinan stuff is expensive!).

I agree. I doubt he's even in the top 10 given people like scalbert and allmotor...among others. I can only imagine how much those guys spend. He may be in the top twenty though.

I added up everything that is on my car or will be installed in the very near future.

So far, it's approximately $25,690. I'll break the $30,000 mark once I buy the brake kit and rims/tires.

I'm afraid to add up the cost of everything I've installed on my '03 CLS 6sp. But I do have a general idea, but am too embarrassed to say.
