Sorry for your loss. I just went to the wake for my girlfriend's grandmother yesterday...not a good couple days.

But, I start bartending classes on Monday ...it has been very hard for me the last few days, with my girlfriend an' all. If I can just make it through this weekend, I should be okay, cuz I'll be busy and around people with the classes. Right now, it's soooo damn hard to be home alone. But, this post isn't about me...sorry, y'all.

NickyPass, What kind of rims are you getting and what will you do with the Axis Hagens? I swear you have the cleanest CL-S around. Those Hagens set it off like nothing I have ever seen on our cars. Let me know when you get rid of them, of course, it may not be worth it to me as I am in Cali, shipping would be a problem (expensive)!

I sent the Hagens out to get gunmetaled...I think they are the best looking rims for the CL...in my opinion!!! I had them the powdercoated the same color as Axis uses for thier gunmetal!

You are right, the gunmetal looks hot on our cars! Good luck. I prefer chrome myself and after seeing your ride, I have made my decision, I am going with the chrome Hagens. Tell me, how does your CL-S ride, I checked into them and it looks like the Hagens only come in 19" not 18" and all 19" tires seem to be "Z" rated which means harder sidewall, harder ride, also not a whole lot of tire. I also notice nowadays 19" is uncommon and I do not see an abundance of tire choices out there, could just be me.
It looks great but I get this feeling once I go with the 19"s and just a Comptech drop, it will ride like a brick with lots of road noise. Guess I will have to sacrifice cause it looks so tight!

Honestly...its not that different than the stock wheels. You just have to be more careful while driving...you don't wanna hit a pothole with a 19" wheel. As for chrome...you can do that in Cali...one Chicago winter would eat them away! Thats why I switch to the stock wheels around mid November...
