Libertyville Acura never mentioned anything on my car yet. McGrath Acura in Glenview is NOT mod friendly..believe me I know.

I been to most of them.. and i always stick to mullers woodfield acura.

They wont install mods...but

I had a electrical problem with my odo light (it wouldnt light up) and they replaced it, no questions asked. Even though i had wires everywhere from the V1 and the shock sensor.

So they respect mods.
I been going to that dealer since 1996

I am not disagreeing with you, I am just curious why you say that. I mean, is it so bad that I should consider putting that "STOP, K&N Filter, Do not Discard" sticker on my airbox?

Yeah, they seem pretty good in general. But, I dont have any mods yet, either!!! This summer that will hopefully change! I wonder why they won't install them?

The reason why I say that is because when the timining belt broke on my car (Integra GS-R) under warranty they did not fix ther car right. It would burn oil. Well Although I had an oil change done, and proved to them It was only 1k since. They decided to put the blame on my Drop, and headers. There goes my engine, which i had to pay for.

How could a drop and headers possibly cause an oil leak? I thought they have to prove that your mods are what led to the problem?

I was happy with the service department - and the anytime free car washes. I dealt with them when I lived in Algonquin before moving to Florida.

I bought two cars from them, both used. An Intergra and a Ford Probe GT. Wasn't as impressed with the sales staff as I was with service. Especially when I went there in response to an ad, and the salesman tried to sell me the car for $2K more than it was advertised for.

Mod Dealership

Continental Acura in Lisle/Naperville on Ogden Av.

Service Mgr is Darren Custer - 630.960.2100

They will do pretty much any Mod you want. All Comptech parts are available there and they have a few others like CAI, etc.

Darren was a great guy, very helpful. I have some of their prices for install on these items, e-mail me if you would like them. I would recommend going there if you need anywork done.

GOOD LUCK!!!! and hope this is helpful!

For the springs, they were going to charge me the rate for swapping them at 1.5 hours per spring. 75 x 1.5 = 110ish x 4 = $440ish, just for labor. Add the cost of the springs at $270, you are paying $710 for something that I had done for $500.

I'm thinking about dropping an AEM or Injen CAI into my CL-S. I really don't feel like dealing with installing it. Can anyone recommend someone in the southern burbs, NW Indiana area to install it? Any idea on what it would cost?

Thanks

THERE ARE NONE... I live in the South Burbs, and believe me, there is nothing around here. The closest one I know of is in Naperville/Lisle on Ogden Av....
