Pimp. I'm glad that MJ can finally take a break.

He's just not happy. The media has fucking ruined his life.

kobe will surpass MJ. The league just gets tougher and if you can dominate and play at the present levels... it shows that you are just that much better!

Kobe will never come close to JORDAN...ever. saying he will surpass him is ridiculous. JOrdan could beat you mentally before you even stepped onto the court, always be 2 steps ahead of you, kobe will never have that talent.

MJ stood out because nobody played like him at the time. Now there are players (although not as good as him) that do play like him and are physically talented. Kobe also has the mental aspect of the game that MJ possessed. It might take 5 years, but I think Kobe will be a better all-around player than MJ. MJ might still get the credit as being the best bball player that ever lived... but I think Kobe will become better.

It's like putting Wilt vs. Shaq 1-1 - Shaq will win... but Wilt had better stats cuz there was NOBODY to defend him PLUS the rules were much easier back then

Kobe will never be on the same level as Jordan. IMO even mentioning them in the same sentence is ridiculous. I have always felt that Kobe it overrated.

:sqnteek: :sqnteek:

You've enhaled to many exhaust fumes from late night dyno sessions. Kobe WANTS TO BE LIKE MIKE. But will NEVER EVER be like Mike.

Better all around game? HUh? MJ could do it all. Play 1, 2, or 3 and be sucessful at each position!! Kobe isn't SHIT without Shaq.

Again you need stop Seriously. Wilt Chamberlin changed the rules of the game. Ownz DOZENS of records and would SCHOOL shaq all day and night. Shit, moses malone would give shaq a run for his money. Shaq, although a great player, can only back people down and has VERY LIMITED ranged. Shaq is great but don't even think about comparing him to Wilt.

Damn, thats what I've been trying to tell these fools who think Shaq is so good. He is productive but outside of being bigger than everyone else what can he do? He can't shoot outside of 10 feet from the basket. I'll give him that he can pass and dunk but thats about it...although I acknowledge that thats all he really needs to do!

As far as MJ vs KB...Kobe still has a long way to go! I agree that he is young so he definitely has time. He no doubt has tremendous talent but Jordan could do it all! Both guys are althletic but Jordan had that mentality...a winner's mentality. There was no doubt that the Bulls were his team whereas with today's lakers is it Kobe's or Shaq's? Jordan made his teammates better...look at how garbage Pippen was/is without out him or how Cartwright was horrible before he joined the Bulls. Has Kobe really made anyone around him better? Can Kobe honestly defend as well as Jordan?

People respect Kobe on the court but back in the day people feared Jordan! I hated him too having been a knicks fan. And he did have good comp in those days because he did go up against Magic, Bird, Thomas and others. While Players today are better the elite tend to be the big men, which Kobe does not play against. He doesn't defend the Duncans, Webbers, Wallaces, Nowitskis, etc. Just my take.

You summed it up very well. I have always liked Robinson and Duncan. They are a class act, something you dont see in the NBA in recent times.

I dont see it as ridiculous. Jordan filled the seats up and was worth every penny the Bulls/Wizards payed him. He brought a lot of attention to the NBA, as did all of the legends that built the game.

Sure he's the greatest ball player but he made most of his money by corporate whoring his image everywhere. Good money but not exactly honorable.

Anyway, the car is NICE but the rims remind me of that tornado fuel-saver crap

The owner of the Wizards came out of the same garage driving a silver one. It did not have the wheels like the one MJ is driving don't think it was AMG but it was convertible. People care about MJ here in D.C. area. Many people have blasted owner Abe Pollen about this move with Emails. Many others have cancelled season tickets to the Wizards & other Pollen teams like Caps & Mystics.

i wish he had stayed, but abe pollen had some good points on why he didnt want him... working out of chicago, decisions on players he got rid of, having his heart set on the charlotte franchise.
