Missing type S
Where it says "3.2CL-S" on the back right, the "-S" disappeared from my car! Either it popped off, or somebody ganked it, so now I just have a regular CL-P ( ) until I get a new Type S emblem put on. Hopefully I can get the dealer to give me a free emblem under warranty while I get the 7500 mile service done, save about $25

if i were you...i'd leave that sucker off...looks like they didnt mess up ur paint...count ur blessings...i've seen a handful or cl-s debadged and the only thing left over was an ugly gash left by the screwdriver they used to rip it off...

Eh, I'll think about that; there's some glue where the emblem used to be, which I'll have to have removed, but (lucky for me) the paint doesn't seem to have been damaged. Let them think I have a CL-P

Took mine off too. Looks better without the "3.2CL S"!

I'm not totally positive about when the badge disappeared--however, I strongly suspect it was while I was parked on the street in Chinatown, LA.
Now, what was that stereotype about Asians and riced-up cars???

Hey MikeN, I just looked at the pictures of your car, and see you took off the whole badge (not just the "-S" part), and I must say that I think it looks really good. I'll definitely give some serious consideration to taking off the rest of the badge, saving myself $25, and reducing the risk of having a screwdriver gouge if somebody else decides to take the "CL" badge...

Those Chinese... they steal nuclear secrets, spyplanes, and type S badges. At least they didn't turn in front of you and try to make it look like your fault.

Calm down, calm down. No more racist talk here, geez. All this talk about Chinese spies and crap! We all know the US have spies all over the world too and who knows what technology they've "borrowed" throughout the years. The spy plane thing...China's fault for their plane clipping our's but our fault for not having a fighter escort to shoot the mofo down before he got too close. The Type-S emblem thing...thieves come in every color and nationality.
BTW...me be Chinese-American
