Miles for one tank......

Not sure the miles per gallon that I got, but over the weekend I took a little road trip and got 390 miles to one take of gas!!! That is the most I've ever gotten!! Just thought I would share.

That's easy to beat with a 6-speed. I've gone over 420 several times. I think that 500 is doable with a very light foot (30MPGx17G=510M).

I think I went as high as 468 miles on single tank from Montreal to Nashua, NH... via the green moutain, I computed a 28MPG on that trip...

On flat land, somewhere in NV desert, at night, with cc set at 55 you can do 500+ miles on single tank (15-16Galons)!

I've gone over 500 (non stop interstate), someone once reported an MPG of about 33. YMMV

I looked up other cars... CLS has one of the best fuel-economy for the highway miles considering 3.2 litter engine @ 260hp. City miles are also pretty good.

Look up BMW 300 or 500 serries, Lexus ES 300, and you will see that their MPG are not as good!

i dont get how a 6 speed can do it easier than the auto since the highest gear of the 6 speed is still smaller than the highest of the auto.... cc at 75! that would kill me... if i drive below 90, i'll fall asleep.. i guess thats why i always get 300miles a tank

I routinely get about 400 miles on 15 gallons - I do a lot of highway driving though.

It varies with traffic...I like to cruise at 80 when I can (about 1/3 of the way).

I should add, the way I drive regular I only get 250-260 miles on a tank. That's with gunning it on streets, driving on streets in only D4, Doing 90+(over 100) on the HW each day. The best MPG I have got has been straight HW driving to NYC, & back.

Yeah I'm in NYC and a dont ever get more then 280 miles on a tank

Unless I'm doing something wrong

I read somewhere that there are a group of enthusiasts who try to get the best mpg possible...One guy averages at least 70 mpg
