Might downsize my rims

I thought about this before but now I really am thinking hard about it. I can't stand the ride on my 19s anymore. It really bugs me everytime I go over bumps or any little thing in the road. I hate driving like a grandma to avoid eveything. I seriously am thinking of selling my rims and going for some lightweight 18s like some Volks. I mean the car looks beautiful and all but I just want some ride quality back.

I see you finally got tired of 19s too. That time we met up you said you were dealing with the ride just fine. Miami roads are not meant for rubber band tires. I'm about to throw my stocks back on and get rid of the 19s too, I just need new tires though since the tires on my stock rims are totally bald. Let me know how the ride on 18s goes, I'm thinking about going to 18" SSR GT1s, but don't know if I should. Will I still have the harsh ride, bent rims, and all that bullshit?

I know the feeling

Get some 14's and some hydros and call it a day...

:roflol:

I thought the roads were pretty decent in Florida??..I know nothing like PA pothole heaven..right?

Run the 19's.. they are saving your life right now.. You said it yourself, "your driving like a grandma".. Well that has it +'s.. First, your pimpin.. Going slow allows alot of people to see your whip and be able to take a double take. Secondly, Just think of all the speeding tickets you would have without the 19's?... Lastly, People think your baller, so they don't even think about jacking you..

I say keep em, run em, and when they die--- get some more.. got to pay to play..

Smitty

P.S. take into affect the ride height w/ 18's and the future headaches of selling rims to people that ask 1 million question over and over and over...It is not worth it.

The 18's I had were ok with the ride. I never had anything bigger to compare though. Even on NY roads the 18's weren't that bad. On South FL roads they were a joy. I only took mine off for fitment reasons.
