I just had this installed last week, and the thing rattles like crazy all the time. Even when im just sitting there idol. It is so loud. Im gonna have to go back to tweeter and try to fix this. Anyone else install the metra kit and have rattling. Lou, anyone?

 

no rattles whatsoever....and you can ask anybody who has been in my car..Titand19???

Check those stupid little clips that hold on the side panels....they wear out fast especially if the are taken on and off a couple of times!

Well i just brought my car into tweeter, and it seems that it isnt the kit that is rattling. I had 2 guys look at it and drive with me 2 listen 2 it. The installer thinks it is the gearing of the headunit that is loose, not the metra kit. We tried several things, and none worked. Im pretty sure it is the headunit, becaue when he held a part of the headunit behind the flipout part, it would go away. I dont know what to do now. It is really annoying. I cant leave this in like this. Any suggestions.

 

2 options bitch to manager or put stock back. pick one you will be good at!

 

BTW i didnt buy the headunit from tweeter. I had it in a previous car and am past the 30 day return policy. I am not going to go back to stock.

 

dude get the alpine iva-d900 and call it a day. I fawking love this thing and everybody who gets into my car also love it.
