Hmmm this is my third time posting pics in the last 2 weeks and only 1 reply total about my engine cover. Anyone have any comments at all. Didnt know my car was that big a piece of shit.

I had tweeter install it for 45 bucks. I just bought a wire harness from them. I do remeber someone else on here saying they were selling the wire harnesses.

 

I just picked up the jl 300/4 amp today. I have all the wiring installed and the amp installed, but still need to replace the stock speakers. I will do it soon. Im gonna replace them with mb quartz. Headunit wise, i love it. I think it is by far the best looking headunit. You can get a phone adapter for it so you can call thru the unit. It is xm ready and plays mp3s. It shows the mp3 tag in the screen. You can have it scroll or stay still. You can change the lighting of it from green to red. It has different angle settings so if the sun is hitting it awkward you can change the angle. You can go to their website and download stuff and burn it to a disk and then you just put the cdr in the headunit and loads it. Not exactly sure what you can get thou. It has a lot of settings. Only thing it doesnt have is the voice activation. That would be pimp.

 

the car looks great. nice shine. the ass end looks like mine, we got the same liscence plate holder and debadged ass except mines black. hmmmm wonder how that clear spoiler light would look on my bitch??

I like it. On the silver it blends in well and doesnt stand out like the red. It also matches the top of the 03 tails. Why dont people like it?

 

Just go to your local tweeter and have them order the metra dash kit for the cl 01 up/tl99 up. The item # is 997868. It took about a week or less 2 get mine in.

 

Cause it looks different then the 03 tails. Seems not as clear. here's mine...

Yea it is a little bit darker than the white on the tails. The tails have some chrome in them. I looked at it and i like it better than the red personally. It looks good to me. If you don't like it just take it out and sell it to someone on here. Did you use that extra piece of wire they had in the box. I just threw that out.

 

Yeah I kept the extra wire. I'm keeping it for now, I do like the look just other peolpe have diferent tastes I guess.
