So how fast do you think this thing is gonna be??

Basically, it's 300hp/300lb-ft in a Grand Marquis. It's got better gearing and a high speed stall torque converter too. Obviously, it's going to be pretty heavy as the regular Grand Marquis weighs just shy of 4000 lbs.

Of course, it will be further disadvantaged by the fact that the only people who will be driving it are 50-something NASCAR fans that need the extra belly room

So add another 100 lbs on to the weight... at least!

Looks kinda cool though... for a big old fart muscle sedan.

I like it, looks very mafia to me. I would consider one just to add a supercharger and make it the ultimate sleeper.

Thats a car I would replace the CL with...its looked great at the NY show (except the paint looked like shit and wasn't hyped at all- just sat there next to a regular GM)- was rather weird, because it was the most exciting thing at the Mercury display.

I think it looks great, my friends are like "you want that POS"- they hated the Impala SS also, which I liked.

I think it will be good for high 6's 0-60 and will also guarantee thats its under $30k

Its definitely has that Nascar, Cigar smoking, beef eating appeal to it....but whatever, throw a 35% tint on the windows- such a pimp wagon.
