Mercedes GST got green light and it will be built in the USA

It will be built in Tuscaloosa (Alabama) where the M Class has been built since 1997.

One of the engines will be a 360HP 5.5 liter V8. Also the pneumatic suspension system 4-ETS will be used. Tons of other electonic systems will be used like in any Mercedes.

I was thinking that exact same thing. I wonder if maybe it is built on the same platform? I do recall hearing that the Pacifica was going to be sharing a lot of Mercedes parts, as is the Chrysler Crossfire.

I dunno, i made need time to get used to it, cuz it looks like an overstyling job not characteristic with Mercedes. That may be somthing Chrysler had an influence on.
